K&C begins design of new Surgery Center, Main Entry Lobby and new Central Plant at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This is the first design of a steel moment frame hospital structure following the Northridge Earthquake in 1994. The central plant replaces the central plant designed by John Case & Associates in 1964, taking that structure through its full life cycle.
