Experience
Many in our staff have more than 20 years of experience relating to K&C's specialty services of blast, shock, and impact effects engineering. The small size of K&C allows us to bring a highly integrated set of capabilities to each project at a reasonable cost. This serves the best interests of the client by ensuring that they receive the best engineering support possible and that whichever engineer is working the job, the client will receive the same excellent service and performance. Our integrated framework also fosters continuous back-and-forth discussions of project related issues and findings so each can gain from the experiences of the others.
Training
K&C has a liberal policy of sending employees to conferences and seminars as well as strongly encouraging all to give talks at professional meetings and other community gatherings, write refereed papers, and attend professional committee activities with societies like ACI, ASCE, and AISC.
K&C senior staff spend considerable time discussing problems and methods with the more junior staff to apprise them of the latest happenings and assist them in improving their skills. In addition, many of the staff are involved in teaching the K&C seminars, which helps them to master the arcane business of designing systems to resist terrorist attacks.
