Penetration and Impact Effects Analysis

Penetration and impact effect modeling follows the same philosophy as for Blast Effects Analysis (BEA) in that several levels of modeling sophistication are available. An example of an impact effects analysis (IEA) used in the design of an anti-ram bollard system is shown above.  As you can see the anti-ram system used in the model protects a given structure by not allowing a vehicle to get near it.
