Maritime Lethality Analysis Tool

NAWC/WD and  K&C developed the first comprehensive lethality software tool for the maritime environment

The MLAT Software package consists of a Vulnerability and Lethality (V/L) software program for maritime targets, which can be used by analysts for weaponeering and to determine the terminal effects of munitions against surface ships. The program features an automatic 3D ship generator, a simulator of threats and physical responses based on accurate models and an engine to execute the simulation and produce quantitative and visual results.

MLAT allows analysts and mission planners to evaluate in real time (minutes) maritime warfare scenarios with a high level of accuracy. The software also offers uncertainty quantification analysis for wartime scenarios where intel is limited.
