K&C CONCRETE MODEL VUMAT FOR ABAQUS

The K&C Concrete Model, Release III (KCCM-R3), is a material constitutive model and algorithm for finite element or other computational solid dynamics (CSD) solvers used to solve explicit transient dynamics. The KCCM-R3 is based on a three-invariant damage/plasticity formulation that uses a three-surface plasticity and damage formulation. This model includes strain-hardening and strain-softening, strain-rate effects, and volumetric strain hardening. The KCCM-R3 employs a William-Warnke surface to realize a three-invariant formulation, which is needed to differentiate extension from compression loading. A variable associativity is used to capture shear-dilatancy phenomena. Three open-source references that document the Release III KCC model are provided by (Malvar, Crawford, Wesevich, & Simons, 1997), (Magallanes, Wu, Malvar, & Crawford, 2010), and (Crawford, Wu, Choi, Magallanes, & Lan, 2011).

With a KCCM-R3 license, K&C will provide an object (.obj) file for Linux or Windows Operating Systems (OS) that can be linked with Abaqus, along with the User/Theory Manual (*.pdf) and examples.

K&C provides the model for use for each individual user. Each user in an organization must submit their own request form. The price for each user is listed below in U.S. dollars, which provides a user license of the model for a period of one year. The license purchase provides you the one-year license to use the model and one hour of technical support. Please provide your contact information below and you will be contacted within 24 hours for payment and delivery. Your request will be submitted after reviewing and agreeing to the license agreement. For any questions about this form or licensing of the model, please email contracts@kcse.com.
